‘« Premiers pas à l’Opéra » : The Opera Fairy’

30 Apr.'22

Participative concert-show for children and their parents.

"Premiers pas à l'Opéra" is a series of participatory concert-shows for children and their parents, which combines great opera arias, stories and playful activities around opera singing.

"The Opera Fairy", a musical tale from the "First Steps to the Opera" project, is designed for children from 4 to 9 years old, with arias by Handel, Verdi and Puccini performed by a soprano and a string quartet. A poetic story gives a new context to well known opera arias while keeping the meaning and emotions of each aria. During the performance, children are invited to accompany the heroine in the preparations for her final concert.

A show by and with Olga Dubois,

with a string quartet conducted by Arman Simonyan,

directed and written in collaboration with Vincent Raoult,

supported by La Maison Qui Chante and the Commune of Uccle
