With the legendary album MoodSwing, American saxophonist and composer, Joshua Redman, launched his first permanent band in 1994 with pianist Brad Mehldau, bassist Christian McBride and drummer Brian Blade. A special band, all of whose individual members would go on to have great careers individually on the international jazz scene in the years which followed. After two decades of individual success, the band reunited in 2020 to create the album RoundAgain. Today, this prestigious quartet presents LongGone, their third album together and one of the best albums of the year.
