In November 2014 the French dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied was appointed director of dance at the Paris National Opera after being principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. His youth, his vision, his culture and his charisma mean he has everything it takes to revolutionise an institution which, although prestigious, is resistant to change. The directors follow, step by step, the new director as he gets to work. Putting together a team of young dancers, creating a new ballet, rehearsals etc. right up until the night of the Première which has been so eagerly awaited by Paris society.
