Philippe Pierlot has called on the services of two outstanding soloists for this programme, which is entirely devoted to instrumental music by Handel. The concertos for organ and for oboe show the Saxon master's artistry at its peak, treating us to some moments of pure pleasure in music at times moving, at times joyful. A major occasion at the Centre for Fine Arts, in the company of one of the country's finest baroque ensembles.
