‘Riget (The Kingdom) : Exodus - Lars Von Trier’

Bozar and ECPF, in collaboration with Polarise Nordic Film Nights, invites you to discover the first two episodes of The Kingdom Exodus, the third and final season of a three-decade long cult TV phenomenon.

At an ultramodern hospital in Denmark, doctors are convinced that the place is haunted. Sleepwalker Karen seeks answers to the unresolved questions in order to save the hospital from doom. Sound asleep one night, Karen wanders into the darkness and inexplicably ends up in front of the hospital. The gate to the Kingdom is opening once more… 

Lars von Trier is a Danish film director, whose films were known for their bleak worldview and controversial subject matter. He has a prolific and controversial career, spanning over four decades, several prices and 14 films among which Breaking The Waves (1996), Dancer in the Dark (2000), Dogville (2003), Melancholia (2011), Nymphomaniac (2013) and The House That Jack Built (2018).
