Followed by a q&a with the director Juraj Lerotić in presence.

Strong directorial debut by Juraj Lerotić, who also doubles as the lead in a very personal story about a family dealing with the aftermath of a suicide attempt. Traumatic as it is, the incident causes a rift in the family's daily life. The plot is limited to the most acute, a short period and a situation that boils down to the most important thing - saving a loved one.

The film won the Best Emerging Director award at the Locarno Film Festival 2022 and is the Croatia’s Oscar entry.

Juraj Lerotić (1978) was born in Kiel, Germany. In 2001 he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Zadar with a major in preschool education. Currently, he is a senior undergraduate of film and tv directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. His last film, Then I See Tanja (2010), premiered at the Rotterdam Film Festival.
