‘SHEL(L)TER’

6 Nov.'22

A cinematic fairy tale provided with music by a conch shell ensemble

One night, a boy washes up on the surf. When he wakes up, he remembers nothing. In a cinematically musical performance, we follow him in his search for what it means to be a child or even simply a human being, but above all about the universal longing for protection, a home, the feeling of belonging somewhere. Singer Aline Goffin and the conch shell ensemble, Spiral Consort, enchant you with live music composed by Liesa Van der Aa and Jon Birdsong in a setting with video images by director Nathalie Teirlinck.

A production of Zonzo Compagnie and hetpaleis, in co-production with Cultura Nova. With support from Flanders and with thanks to the Aquarium-Museum of Liège. This performance is produced with support obtained through Tax Shelter from the Belgian Federal Government, Tax Shelter fundraising: Casa Kafka Pictures, Tax Shelter Empowered by Belfius/Isabelle Molhant.
