It has been a long time since Bozar last welcomed Sir András Schiff for a recital. The Hungarian pianist is known for his authentic interpretations and unrivalled musicality, combined with technical perfection and emotional depth. Schiff likes suspense, too: he never announces his programme until he appears on stage. So it remains to be seen what music he will play, but whether it is Bach, Beethoven or Schubert, a recital by Schiff is always something to look forward to.
