‘The Sonic Assistance Agency’

24 Feb.'25

ICTUS

In a performance that is part therapy, part concert and part game, the agents of the Sonic Assistance Agency put sound under the microscope. Subtle sensations move your body and make the space vibrate, before you return to the music. So what is music if not an intellectual composition, the art of playing together, improvising and sharing emotions...? One thing is certain: other things are happening.

The Sonic Assistance Agency shows what we can’t talk about. Inspired by the techniques of ASMR, a true cult of sensory pleasure, this project makes us realise, strangely enough, that up close, all sounds are beautiful and special. Playing a composition that looks more like a ‘video game’ than a score, this concert takes you on a journey of auditory massage, where sound and the murmur of space itself play a part.
