"Symphonic Adiemus" of Karl Jenkins

Every four years, the A Cœur Joie Regional of Brussels organizes a large workshop allowing choristers to discover or deepen their skills in choral singing.

This project, "Adiemus", conducted by the young and talented conductor and choirmaster Elise Smout, is also educational as it allows percussion students from the Conservatory to participate.

The prestigious concert will be performed by nearly 250 choristers and 70 musicians, presenting Ola Gjeilo's "Sunrise Mass" followed by Karl Jenkins' "Symphonic Adiemus", a version we present for the very first time in Belgium on 8 February 2026 at the PBA Charleroi.

All proceeds from this benefit concert will go to the nonprofit "La Clé", which welcomes about twenty deaf or hard-of-hearing children.
