In the presence of the film director

Team Hurricane tells the story of eight teenage girls that over the course of one summer come to realise they need each other to ride out the storm of adolescence. Depicting radical girls in an ordinary world, the punk chick flick mixes documentary material with highly stylized fiction.

Danish film director Annika Berg (born in 1987) attended the National Film School of Denmark. Team Hurricane (2017) is her feature debut, a Dogma-inspired film which explores the emotional challenges and changes of adolescence through the lens of a group of punk girls. The film made its world premiere at Venice Film Festival's independent sidebar, the International Film Critics' Week.

Berg is one the filmmakers who co-wrote the Dogma 25 Manifesto, an updated version of the infamous Dogma 95. The screening on October 2nd is in the presence of the film director who will give an introduction to Dogma 25 and reflect on the challenges of this new movement.
