Musical encounters through the heart of Brussels
The Belgian National Orchestra, La Monnaie and BOZAR join forces to bring music back to the streets of Brussels. For its fifth edition, United Music of Brussels celebrates the comforting power of music through a varied programme of concerts and musical adventures. Set off on a journey to discover refreshing music from past and present performed in extraordinary places, some well-known, others off the beaten track. Let yourself be carried along by familiar tunes and extraordinary sounds. Enjoy once again the sheer pleasure of tasting moments of exchange with the artists on this unique musical tour of Brussels.
United Music of Brussels ('UMOB') came into being after the terrorist attacks in Brussels in 2016 and primarily wanted to connect people and revitalise urban society. Due to the strict security protocol, UMOB's nature of connection is affected heavily. La Monnaie, Belgian National Orchestra and BOZAR have decided to postpone the fifth edition of UMOB. Read the full discussion with the three directors about the postponement of United Music of Brussels and the recent decisions of the government.
