THREE WALL DRAWINGS BY HENRI JACOBS
in te context of Art On Paper, Contemporary Drawing Fair
As part of the second edition of the contemporary drawing show Art on Paper – which will take place between 8 and 11 September 2016, a co-production by BOZAR and VO-EVENT – an installation created by Henri Jacobs will be on display from 30 June 2016. The work by Henri Jacobs, specially designed in situ for the locations, will be on display in the BOZAR Rotunda, entry hall and Fumoir. As drawing now covers multiple forms, this project is a further means to explore this diversity.

‘Maybe I don’t think enough about beauty in my work because I am so curious about other qualities, abstract qualities of time, weight, balance and rhythm; collapse and fatigue versus the more upright dynamic notions of maybe posture… the state that something might be in. Is it growing or is it shrinking, is it going up or down, is it folding or unfolding?’
