VR FILM SCREENING : Play Life

Join us for the March edition of VR Film Screening, Bozar’s monthly event dedicated to immersive storytelling. This edition invites you into the colourful and imaginative world of Lithuanian artist Algis Kriščiūnas, where paintings come to life through VR, music, and storytelling. 

Play Life, directed by Žilvinas Naujokas, Donatas Ulvydas, Vilius Petrauskas and Mantas Pronckus, transforms nearly two dozen of Kriščiūnas’ paintings into a vibrant three-dimensional world. Through a nostalgic conversation between a man and a woman, the film moves through memories, love, and the passage of time, blending the artist’s paintings with choreography, animation, and an original soundtrack to create an immersive journey through his vision of life.
