Join us for the January edition of VR Film Screening, a monthly event dedicated to immersive storytelling. This series offers a fresh perspective on VR cinema and features a curated selection of works ranging from live-action to animation.
This time, Somewhere Unknown in Indochina invites you into an emotional dreamscape where memory and history weave. Inspired by the forgotten Vietnamese refugee camps in Penghu, Taiwan – absent from official UN records – the film tells the story of two sisters, Phuong and Chi, whose escape from Saigon became a fight for survival at sea and in exile. Decades later in Brussels, Chi dreams of her lost sister, and within that dream another story unfolds.
The 7pm screening will be followed by an after-talk in the presence of Chi’s family.
VR Film Screening at Bozar is designed to be welcoming and accessible. Attentive guides will be on hand to ensure you have a seamless experience. Book your tickets now and immerse yourself in a unique cinematic VR journey.
