Michel van der Aa, composer and multimedia artist, is renowned for his innovative productions that blend music, technology, and immersive storytelling. Winner of numerous awards, including the Grawemeyer Award (2013) and the International Opera Award (2022), his VR opera From Dust was awarded Best Immersive Work at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025.
