What toothbrushes tell us about inequality

20 Oct.'16
- 19:00

To reveal what a toothbrush can tell us about inequalities. This, essentially, is Anna Rosling-Rönnlund's ambition. One that guides her thinking as she collects photos of objects gleaned from the everyday lives of the rich and the poor as a means of highlighting the differences linked to their standard of living. For Brussels Days she will be focusing her attention on Europe by creating a "Virtual Euro Street". Here she will present a series of images of toothbrushes, tables, shoes and toys to highlight how certain objects are deformed by the weight of poverty.
