Yelda Leyva is a Cuban dancer. A graduate of the National School of Dance in Havana, she is particularly interested in folk and contemporary dance. She has performed with several dance companies, including the Contemporary Dance Troupe of Cuba and George Céspedes’s "Los Hijos del Director" company. In 2017 she joined the "Acosta Danza Compañía" lead by the famous dancer Carlos Acosta. She appreciates traditional and contemporary dance and can adapt to any kind of rhythm or silence, making her something of a choreography chameleon.
