‘ZORN I (2010-2016), ZORN II (2016-2018), ZORN III (2018-2022) – Mathieu Amalric’

In the presence of the filmmaker

Mathieu Amalric met American saxophonist, clarinettist and composer John Zorn in 2009. The French actor and filmmaker began to film his new friend from New York following the commission of a profile by the channel Arte. The commission was soon forgotten but the filming continued at every opportunity, every meeting, with no other goal or purpose than to document the moment and the pleasure of being together around music. It is an eternal work in progress that continues to this day and currently comprises three parts.

The evening will be introduced by Mathieu Amalric.

There will be a meet and greet with the audience before and after the screening of ZORN III (2018-2022), hosted by journalist Sabine Ringelheim.
