‘Los Reyes del Flamenco’

Antonio Reyes is undoubtedly one of today’s principal interpreters of the cante flamenco genre. He received both the Giraldillo award at the Flamenco Biennial in Seville, and the Flamenco Radio award. Antonio’s artistic career has always involved his family: he belongs to the Jarritos dynasty, and is related to Pansequito. His show Reyes del cante, presented for the first time at the Flamenco Biennial in Malaga, included his next of kin. Part of this show at the Bruselas Flamenco Festival will be performed with two of his children, Macarena Reyes (song) and Nono Reyes (guitar), his sister Remedios Reyes and his wife, dancer Patricia Valdés. The show also includes a special performance by José “El Pañero” and guitarist Vicente Santiago.
