Senior Programmer Classical Music

Since February 2023 and the arrival of the new CEO-Artistic Director, Christophe Slagmuylder, Bozar has been taking a new direction in terms of its artistic strategy and programming. The existing activities of the different artistic disciplines arebetter aligned in order to become an integral and complementary part of an overall transversal and interdepartmental way of working. As one of the two main pillars of Bozar's artistic project, the music programme is developed at the heart of a multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary house, contributing directly to Bozar's unique identity in Europe.

Bozar Music offers a programming the strength of which lies in the combination of established artists and young musicians, repertoire and contemporary creation, big stars and new discoveries. Bozar Music develops and implements a transversal mediation and education programme that encourages inclusion, integrates the different axes of its programming and focuses on target groups. Throughout its 157 seasons, the musical project presented by Bozar Music has been greatly enriched. Initially exclusively classical, the season now presents a wide variety of styles and genres. Since 2002, when Bozar Music was founded, early music, classical music, contemporary music, jazz, electro and 'global' have been presented in various concert halls in and around the Centre for Fine Arts.
