Visit & Learn

Education

To anchor art and creativity in the national educational programme, Bozar appeals to top-class artists and offers schools unforgettable learning experiences.

Teachers and their students are one of Bozar’s important target groups. Every year our events reach more than 25,000 visitors, from guided and interactive tours and concerts to introductions, meetings and tailor-made activities. They are aimed at both those who are visiting our art institution for the first time and those who wish to discover all the corners of Horta’s building during an in-depth guided tour. Bozar offers “live” experiences that connect with the world of young people, bring historical themes up to date, promote curiosity and invite them to discover new artistic trends and musical genres. See our offers for kindergarten and primary schools, or for secondary and higher education and art schools.

You will find all the rates for activities that form part of our programme for schools on the page of the event itself, but we also provide other attractive rates for students and teachers, which you can find on the Tickets page.

Should the suggested rate present any difficulties for your visit to Bozar, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're more than happy to explore alternative solutions with you. Feel free to email us at groups@bozar.be.

Reservation requests for school groups are made via a request form that can be found on the event page.

Once the form has been completed, our team will contact you personally to confirm the visit and inform you of the payment conditions.

School groups enter Bozar through the main entrance. Read all about the accessibility of the Centre for Fine Arts here.

FAQ

You should book a guided tour at least three weeks in advance. You can also book later, but certain conditions apply.

All other activities such as concerts can be booked at any time. Please note that concerts often sell out quickly, so it is better to book a certain amount of time beforehand.

If so, let us know when you make your reservation and we will adapt your visit accordingly (visit for future teachers or for a particular topic debated in a course, for example). Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss this.

Bozar offers guided tours adapted to their language level. Thanks to the specially trained guides of Proforal vzw (FLE) and Huis van het Nederlands Brussel (NT2) you can enjoy an interactive, playful and personalised tour. More information on the FLE and NT2 visit page.

If you would like to book a visit for students who are not perfectly fluent in French or Dutch, please let us know and we will adapt the visit accordingly.

If so, please let us know by sending us an e-mail at groups@bozar.be.To ensure the comfort and safety of visitors, we limit the number of groups in the exhibitions. Groups without a guide are therefore required to book their visit in advance. Don't forget that you must stay with the students from start to finish. The group should not exceed fifteen people per teacher.

Click here for more information about guided tours of the exhibitions.
