Interview: Catherine Graindorge

Discover the unique world of the Brussels artist

On 23 April 2023, to open the Nuits Botanique, Bozar and the Botanique invited Catherine Graindorge's spellbinding universe to the stage of the Henry Le Boeuf Hall. Following her residency at Le Botanique, the Brussels-based violinist and composer took the audience on a dreamlike journey inspired by Allen Ginsberg's poem "A Dream Record", in which Ginsberg converses with William S. Burroughs' deceased wife in his dreams. Catherine Graindorge is joined by Simon Huw Jones on vocals, Pascal Humbert on bass and Simon Ho on keyboards. A touching human, poetic and musical encounter, which we invite you to experience through this video.
