Leila Bordreuil

Brooklyn-based French cellist Leila Bordreuil mixes contemporary classical music with Noise and experimental influences. The result is a fascinating sonorous soundtrack, exploring the modern techniques of the cello. For this house concert, she collaborates with filmmaker Bayley Sweitzer for an audio-visual performance which draws from the artists’ ongoing investigation into value of air, specifically its value in New York’s corrupt real estate market.
