Beauty through a Contemporary Lens

Après l’Amour en 2024, la beauté physique est le thème du deuxième volet d'une série d'expositions organisées par Bozar, explorant les questions qui nous animent en tant qu'êtres humains. À travers le prisme de la photographie et de la vidéo, des années 1960 à nos jours, cette exposition interroge la manière dont les artistes représentent — et défient — les normes établies de ce qui est considéré comme beau. Dévoilant les pressions et les excès liés à l'idéal de beauté contemporain, les œuvres présentées offrent une pluralité de propositions, tantôt critiques, tantôt émancipatrices. 

 

Bozar Arcade, l’espace dédié aux œuvres d’art numériques interactives et aux jeux vidéo à Bozar, sera intégré à l’exposition.
