Living Art
Bozar positions itself as a vibrant place that invites visitors to linger and experience a variety of encounters. The concert halls blend different musical genres, the cinema regularly opens up to new image technologies, and the Talks & Debates series has grown into an indispensable platform for the exchange of ideas.
“Among the highlights of 2025 at Bozar, I particularly noticed that Talks & Debates generated unprecedented enthusiasm. Audiences seem to be searching for meaning and for places of dialogue, where they can listen to the great voices of our time. It is incredibly motivating to see Bozar growing into an important meeting place. With a 20% increase in visitor numbers compared to last year - which was already a strong year - the public confirms the relevance of our programme. By opening up the boundaries between our different disciplines and connecting them, we turn the Palace into a living house that is open to everyone. In 2026, I see Bozar as a polyphonic place where diverse voices can coexist. As a house of the arts where voices that do not all say the same thing can nonetheless express something together.”

2026
In 2026, Bozar continues along this path. This “living house” of the arts aims to further strengthen its role as a place for encounter and reflection, in close collaboration with artists, partners, teams and audiences.
With two major exhibitions - Bellezza e Bruttezza and Picture Perfect - Bozar will place beauty at the centre in the first half of 2026: idealised, subjective, but sometimes also deceptive. At the same time, leading musical figures such as Sol Gabetta, Lea Desandre, Julia Wolfe and Fennesz will take centre stage. In addition, Bozar will welcome an impressive range of outstanding artists from diverse disciplines, from Ocean Vuong and Laurie Anderson to Boris Charmatz and Víkingur Ólafsson.
In 2026, Bozar presents a broad and diverse programme of projects and artists, including:
