Two bows observing, bickering, supporting, or confronting each other… From duets to duels, the prodigious Amandine Beyer and her Ukrainian associate Vadym Makarenko hold a discourse with sensitivity and virtuosity, immersing you in the splendour of this little-known repertoire for two violins. Through their specific bowing, the musical Europe of the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries – with music by Rameau, Leclair, and Glière – is revealed for you.
