El Arbol Con Alas

There once was a huge oak tree, firmly rooted in Spanish soil. Dancer Anabel Veloso introduces children aged between 4 and 12 (and their parents) to the rich world of flamenco. This interactive show provides an insight into the famous Spanish dance style, using the four seasons of a tree as a starting point. Through play, the children learn about the various flamenco styles and the three essential cornerstones of flamenco: singing, guitar and dance. They will have the opportunity to experiment with rhythms, melodies and dance steps. Next, the children can experience for themselves how it feels to dance or sing flamenco. Dresses, shoes, hats, fans, castanets: all the ingredients for an unforgettable afternoon.
