Anne de Fornel

Musicologist and pianist Anne de Fornel gives a detailed introduction to Nadia Boulanger. Using some signature pieces for piano and cello - performed by Emmanuelle Bertrand - she will take you into the extraordinary life of the influential pedagogue, organist, composer and conductor. 

After the lecture, the documentary film Mademoiselle (1977) by Bruno Monsaingeon will be screened. An intimate portrait of Boulanger at the age of 80.
