‘Belgian Music Days’

13 → 15
Feb.'24

Bozar proudly presents the fourth edition of the Belgian Music Days. This biennial is dedicated to Belgian music and presents a wide range of works from 1830 to the present day. Particular attention is paid to living composers, but lovers of older musical heritage are also amply catered for with works by Franck and Lekeu. A unique experience will undoubtedly be the European premiere of a recently rediscovered piece by Eugène Ysaÿe. Besides large-scale orchestral works and a rich selection of chamber music, the latest developments within electro-acoustic music are also highlighted. Following editions in Leuven, Mons and Eupen, this year's festival lands in Brussels to mark the Belgian presidency of the European Union. Concerts will take place on 12-16 February 2024 at Bozar and the Royal Conservatory. Come and discover the wealth of Belgian music!
