Belgian Entreprenoires – Lifestyle Market

From fashion to food to wellness, the Lifestyle Market is the place to find beauty, inspiration and innovation. In collaboration with Belgian Entreprenoires, the Afropolitan Festival honours black female entrepreneurs, designers, artists and brand owners. After the resounding success of the previous edition, 12 innovative female designers will unveil their projects this year.

Aurélie Mulowa founded the Belgian Entreprenoires Network in 2020 to nurture the talent and expertise of black female entrepreneurs in Belgium. The Entreprenoires are pioneers in their respective fields and passionately share their products and knowledge with you.

Ici Sont Les Lions – Bookshop pop-up

By popular demand, the pop-up bookstore "Ici Sont Les Lions" returns to give deeper meaning to this year's Afropolitan theme; An Uprising of Dreams. Dedicated to African and African diaspora literature, founder Dulia Lengema's shop offers talented novelists to accompany you on a literary landscape. Located at No. 180 rue Haute, in the heart of Brussels, the bookshop displays a wide selection of children's books, literature, art books, short story collections and much more in French, English, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Lingala, Kikongo and other languages.
