Mozart Violin Concertos & Haydn Symphonies

Janine Jansen is at the top of her game and each of her concerts is a journey of sensitivity, strength and emotion. The Camerata Salzburg, which prefers to focus on Viennese classicism, accompanies her in a dialogue between Haydn and Mozart. With the 'Morning' and 'Noon' Symphonies, Haydn offers music that is rich in images, which alternately gives voice to the various musicians in the orchestra. In counterpoint, the second and third violin concertos of the young Mozart (19 years old!) reveal another aspect of the musical taste of his time: that of charming and light melodies, inventive and inspired, while at the same time displaying that depth so characteristic of the composer. In a word, all the charm of the Viennese spirit, served up by top-class musicians.
