Film "Fuocoammare" followed by a debate and night tour on the rooftop
The premiere of Gianfranco Rosi’s film "Fuocoammare" (Golden Bear at the 2016 Berlin Film Festival) will be screened at the closing night of the exhibition "A lighthouse for Lampedusa" on 8 September. Afterwards, Karl Van den Broeck will be moderating a discussion between Mieke Strynckx, VRT journalist and 2015 winner of the Belfius Press Prize, Micaela Casalboni, artistic director of the Compagnia del Teatro dell'Argine, Ali Nazar Nejat, journalist, and Shamsia Ahmadi, who worked for national, international, governmental and non governmental organisations - both of them are Afghan refugees from Baghlan.
Program of the closing night :
- 19:30 Film « Lampedusa Mirrors » (25'24'') : Thoughts, images, rehearsals, interviews, performances created and collected during and around an Italian-Tunisian theatre project (by Teatro dell'Argine & Eclosion d'Artistes, in the frame of Tandem Shaml programme).
- 20:00 Film « Fuocoammare » of Gianfranco Rosi (108')
- 22:00 Debate with Mieke Strynckx, Micaela Casalboni, Ali Nazar Nejat, Shamsia Ahmadi, Karl Van den Broeck (moderator)
- Night tour of the installation on the rooftop of BOZAR
