Dandelion Odyssey - Momoko Seto (8+)

Dandelion, Baraban, Leonto and Taraxa, four dandelions seeds that survived a series of nuclear explosions that destroyed the Earth, find themselves projected into the cosmos. After landing on an unknown planet, they set out in search of a place where their species can survive. But the elements, the fauna, the flora and the climate are all obstacles they must overcome. 

This unique film without dialogue won awards at the Cannes Film Festival (Critics' Week) and Annecy.

Momoko Seto was born in Japan, before coming to France to study at Le Fresnoy. She works as a director for the CNRS - the national scientific research center - where she makes scientific documentaries. In 2021, she was presented with the CNRS Crystal Award and was awarded by the Fondation Gan for the Cinema in 2022. In parallel, she directs films, including the series Planet (Planet Σ won the Audi Short Film Award at Berlinale in 2015).
