“A discovery in the real sense of the word and a brilliant pianist”, said pianist Boris Berezovsky of Dmitry Masleev. The young pianist from Russia scored a triumphant victory in the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2015. “His musicality, of metaphysical proportions, set the auditorium shimmering. Everyone had the sense of entering an alternative reality. The latent suspense reached its zenith with Tchaikovsky's Sonata in B minor and Prokofiev's Third Piano Concerto”, said the Neue Musikzeitung. After performing with Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky Orchestra, Dmitry Masleev will come to Brussels with pieces by Beethoven, Scarlatti, Liszt and Rachmaninov.
