On Wednesday 27 September, Elvis Costello is coming to the Bozar in Brussels with his partner in crime Steve Nieve.​​​​​​​

Over the past decades, Elvis Costello has performed with us in various formations.  On concert posters we find names like The Sugarcanes, The Allen Toussaint Band, Steve Nieve, The Attractions and The Imposters. In just about all these line-ups, "Professor Nieve" (always announced as "Steve Naïve") features prominently.

Even in pre-announced solo performances, it happened that the faithful keyboardist emerged from the wings during bisongs. Thus, 21 October 2014 was a Brussels top night (31 songs, or 2 hours and 41 minutes) full of beauty, humour and goosebump moments with extra piano frills in the bis set (13 songs, or 71 minutes).

Highlighting highlights of Costello's oeuvre is impossible. The tally of studio albums stands at 32 and covers a wide variety of genres. Recently released are "The Songs of Bacharach & Costello", a deluxe box set celebrating the collaboration between the lamented composer Burt Bacharach and Elvis Costello, featuring the never-before-released new single "You Can Have Her". 

In 2023, he began "100 songs and more over 10 Nights", a 10-night residency on Broadway in which he specified in advance 10 different songs each night that he would definitely play. Exactly which songs Costello will be taking off in September, he himself does not yet know. But that The King of Belgium and his lieutenant will blow everyone away with voice, guitar, piano is already certain. The haunting anecdotes, many hits, obscure gems and carefully chosen covers will leave no one unmoved.
