feat. Yaron Herman, Linda May Han Oh, Prabhu Edouard

It was only a matter of time before two of the most adventurous musicians on the French jazz scene joined forces for a project that rejects complacency and embraces curiosity. Saxophonist Emile Parisien and pianist Yaron Herman are undaunted by a blank page. That spirit gave rise to Floating. In their hunger for innovation, they surround themselves with Indian tabla master Prabhu Edouard, whom Jordi Savall and Jeff Mills also seek out, and double bassist Linda May Han Oh. The New York-based GRAMMY winner and lecturer at the prestigious Berklee College of Music has previously performed alongside the likes of Pat Metheny and Vijay Iyer. Her poetic precision is the icing on the cake for this all-star quartet. While we await their album, you can already hear them live at Bozar.
