Theo van Doesburg. A New Expression of Life, Art and Technology

When you and your family come to the BOZAR Family Day don’t forget to bring along everyday, square objects in blue, yellow, red, black and white. Your children will be able to use these angular shapes to make unusual structures inspired by the life and work of Theo van Doesburg. Every object is given its own special place in the Horta Hall lab: do you prefer to place colour next to colour or all the angles together? It’s up to you. After a journey through the exhibition Van Doesburg. A new Expression of Life, Art and Technology your children will link every colour with a feeling and make up crazy poems. In the next workshop they will make three-dimensional mobiles or tell a story using a series of dots on paper. During the Sing-in BOZAR singing workshop they even get the chance to turn a colour into a sound!
