‘Florian Noack’

18 June'21
- 19:00

In recent years, the young Belgian pianist Florian Noack has won a succession of the most prestigious prizes, and today he’s vigorously pursuing an international solo career. Chopin's  Préludes are central to this recital. In 24 miniatures the composer created a musical tension that ranges from an explosive virtuosity to a captivating melancholy. Noack combines this score with a piece by Bach, a major source of inspiration for Chopin. The discovery of the evening is undoubtedly the Études Transcendantes by Sergei Lyapunov that Noack will shortly be releasing on CD. He will share his passion for this lesser-known Russian at the Coudenberg.
