A full-day workshop by Mihai Grecu, artist and film-maker
This workshop will be focused on discovering new types of images generated by artificial intelligence. You will be using text-to-image model, in which a programme based on a virtual network interprets an initial text written by the user and creates an image from this text. These images can be generated in different styles: photorealistic, pictorial, illustrative, depending on what the user has written. The possibilities are theoretically endless. The workshop will be introduced and supervised by Mihai Grecu, Romanian artist and film director based in France, working in the fields of moving image and digital arts. He is an expert in digitally processed images.
Detailed programme:
11:00–13:00 part 1
13:00–14:30 Lunch break (not provided)
14:30–16:30 part 2
At the end of the workshop day, at 6.30pm, the participants are invited to attend a performance in the Ravenstein Gallery. PLai PRAGUE, a collective of drama students and professionals from Prague, present “Prague Clockwork Cabaret” conceived of machines performed by humans. A spectacle at the intersection of art and technology.
