Meet the festival and the programmer
BOZAR CINEMA and the Goethe Institut invite you to explore some of Germany’s most prominent film festivals. First of all, there is the politically committed DOK Leipzig documentary film festival. We also visit the famous Berlinale, focusing on its International Forum of Young Cinema, which highlights new talent and innovation. Our next stop is the Max Ophüls Festival, which keeps a finger on the pulse of young German cinema, and, last but not least, the famous Oberhausen short film festival, the world’s oldest festival for short films. Discover the profile of each of these festivals and enjoy previews of the some gems from across the Rhine!
