‘Graffiti in Brussels’

The “Fais le trottoir” team is bringing together connoisseurs and enthusiastic graffiti artists who have spent several years trying to obtain an improved recognition of this art. The non-profit organisation puts on guided tours led by two people, one of whom is an artist. During these walks, they decipher signatures, go over the history and working techniques, and highlight the mechanisms specific to the hip-hop movement.
Aside from guided tours, “Fais le trottoir” works on bringing out the positive aspects of graffiti and passing on an authentic vision of its practice through numerous activities such as making documentaries, publishing fanzines and speaking at discussions and conferences.
