‘HRH Prince Hassan of Jordan’

19 Oct.'20
- 20:30

From humiliation to human dignity

The younger brother of King Hussein of Jordan, to whom he was Crown Prince from 1965 to 1999, and uncle of the current King Abdullah II, Prince El Hassan Bin Talal of Jordan is a staunch supporter of interreligious dialogue, especially between the three Abrahamic religions.
A graduate of the University of Oxford, associate member of the French Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, and holder of honorary doctorates from many universities, Prince Hassan founded the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies in Amman in 1994. For our forum, Prince Hassan has agreed to share his commitment to the search for peace through interreligious dialogue. The fate of Christians in the Holy Land and the Arab world is also at the forefront of his concerns.

HRH Prince Hassan of Jordan will give us the honour of inaugurating this 90th season of our forum and chose as title of his conference: “From humiliation to human dignity”.
