‘Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra & Wynton Marsalis’

10 Oct.'21

Due to an unforeseen change in the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra tour schedule, the JLCO performance at BOZAR, originally scheduled on September 25 (at 5:00 pm and 8:30 pm), has been rescheduled for a single performance on October 10 at 8:30 pm.

Ticket sales for this new date start on Tuesday 21 September at 11 am. People who have bought a ticket for one of the concerts scheduled for 25 September will receive an e-mail as soon as possible in order to get a priority seat for the concert on 10 October.

In March 2020, Winton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) treated us to a fabulous concert. Who could have thought this would be Bozar’s last concert before the Belgian cultural sector was shut down in the face of the Covid-19 crisis? More than a year on from this highly symbolic moment, we have the honour of welcoming the New York band back to Bozar. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra from New York has championed the big band and the big band repertoire in jazz for many years. Its artistic leader is possibly even more famous. The much-lauded trumpet player and composer Wynton Marsalis holds nine Grammy Awards and a Pulitzer Prize for Music in his collection. Don’t miss this incredible musical treat!
