Jeonju Intl Film Festival

Jeonju Cinema Project

27 → 31
May'26

The Jeonju International Film Festival has developed a unique model of a 'film festival as producer'. Every year, the festival selects and funds new projects by filmmakers to be shown the following year. Since its inception, this funding program has supported the work of renowned filmmakers such as Tsai Ming-liang, Claire Denis, Pedro Costa, Matías Piñeiro, Jean-Marie Straub and Hong Sangsoo and many more young talents from 2014. To commemorate a special collaboration with Bozar, we present films by two Korean masters and two emerging directors. Films produced by the Jeonju International Film Festival have been screened at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, the Arsenal in Berlin, the Cineteca Nacional de Mexico, and the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.
