It has been a while since we welcomed the brilliant American mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato to BOZAR. In My Favourite Things she delves into her much-loved repertoire of classic and baroque songs. Together with il pomo d’oro she embraces the expressive vocal melodies of Monteverdi, Handel, Hasse, Gluck and other composers. Her stage presence and the richness of her voice make every one of her concerts an unmissable event. Besides a few lesser-known gems, look out for the opera hits Che Faro senza Euridice by Gluck and Dopo notte by Handel. In DiDonato's performance you may well get to hear some of the most beautiful interpretations of our time.
