Official opening concert of the Dutch Presidency of the Council of the European Union

CONTEXT: 19:00 : Lecture-Performance: Dvorak and the New World 

It is always a pleasure to welcome the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam, regarded by many as the world's greatest orchestra. An added treat is the presence of Herbert Blomstedt, one of the great conductors of our time. The highlight of their programme is the Czech composer Antonin Dvořák's "New World" Symphony.
