“Please… Draw me a sheep!”… Le Petit  Prince, the most philosophical of children’s fairy tales, is as fresh today as when first published in 1943. The composer Jean-Pascal Beintus had the idea of illustrating de Saint-Exupéry’s text in the most evocative manner possible, in the fashion of Ravel’s La Mère L’Oye. His music, of great finesse, alternates with the original text, interpreted by members of a Belgian children’s theatre company.
