‘Lion’s Drums - Kagabas’

In 2019, Lion’s Drums headed for the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Colombia where he encountered the Kagabas. He spent a week among the native population of this mountain paradise, with its abundance of species and rich biodiversity. The Kagabas sing to affirm their bond with nature and the animal world. Lion's Drums used the vocals and ambient sounds as a basis for his new album: a blend of field recordings, ambient music and subtle electronic pulses.
