SYNOPSIS:
COLD WAR tells the story of an impossible love at an impossible time. A passionate love story between two people of different backgrounds and temperaments, who are fatefully mismatched, set against the background of the Cold War in the 1950s in Poland, Berlin, Yugoslavia and Paris.
The EU's Creative Europe MEDIA programme plays a crucial role in supporting Europe's audiovisual sector. It provides funding for the development, promotion and distribution of European works within Europe and beyond, and invests in training programmes, film festivals, cinema networks and distribution platforms. Since 1991, the EU has invested over €2.5 billion in European content, creativity and cultural diversity, helping European talents to work together across borders. Each year MEDIA supports around 2000 projects, including films, documentaries, TV series, video games, training programmes, cinemas and much more.
The audience attending the screenings is invited to join us for drinks offered by MEDIA.
On 14 October, there will be a cocktail in “Fumoir”, from 6.45 to 7.45pm, to celebrate the European Art Cinema Day.
On 23 October, there will be a cocktail in ”Fumoir” from 6.45 to 7.45pm, right before the screening of the film ‘Cold War’.
